Cary Vaughn named CEO of Love Worth Finding

Cary Vaughn was recently named Chief Executive Officer of LWF, filling the position vacated by Bill Skelton on September 1, 2011 after 20 years of ministry.

Interim CEO and Chairman of the Board, Bob Sorrell expressed, “Cary’s been a faithful member, leader and teacher at Bellevue Baptist Church. After being ordained by Dr. Adrian Rogers in 2003, he directed the Laymen’s Leadership Development Ministry of the church. His service with Dr. Rogers, prior to his retirement as Pastor, gives an added dimension for leadership in his new role at LWF.”

He brings LWF a great deal of experience having served with many faith-based and non-profit organizations. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Memphis YMCA, Mid-South Gift of Life, University of Memphis Emerging Leaders Program, Tennessee Association of Community Leadership and the Regional Economic Development Initiative.

"I am honored to have this opportunity to serve the Lord through Love Worth Finding,” said Vaughn. "LWF’s mission resonates with my heart in desiring to reach this world with the message that Jesus Christ is the greatest Love worth finding.”

For nearly 20 years, Cary has been married to his college sweetheart, Lalania and they have two wonderful children ─ daughter Logan is nineteen years old, and their son Colton is fourteen. Their family’s passion for our Lord is readily seen in their commitment to His ministry, routinely as well as through mission endeavors, stateside and abroad.
