What is LWF?
Love Worth Finding is the radio and television media ministry of the late Dr. Adrian Rogers. For over 30 years, he was pastor of the 30,000 member Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. Visit the Love Worth Finding home page for complete information about our mission.
What is Cordova Media?
We are the in-house media agency exclusively for the placement, distribution, and maintenance of our program to our network of LWF stations.
What are the Cordova Media office hours?
We are in the office Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM Central Time (except normal holidays). We would be happy to supply you an emergency number for other times. Give us a call and request the number to call. Our office phone is 901-328-2882.
What phone number should radio or TV stations use on their websites or printed lists of ministries to reference Love Worth Finding?
We use several different "toll-free" numbers on our radio and TV programs, but those calls are directed to an outsourced call center. We would prefer that you use the toll free number directly into the Love Worth Finding Ministry Services department for all of your publications or internet listings of ministries airing on your station. With Adrian Rogers' passing, what does the future hold for LWF?
Dr. Rogers admonished the staff of Love Worth Finding to continue this ministry outreach until Jesus returns. In a letter penned by Dr. Rogers before his death, he spoke of "passing the baton" to us and to our station programmers to continue to tell the world about Jesus. What is involved in getting LWF on my station?
It is easy. Contact our office today, by e-mail, phone 901.328.2882, or mail P.O. Box 38600, Memphis, TN 38183-0700, and we will reach a partnership understanding. LWF exists to proclaim the gospel. We are always open to opportunities to reach more people. Currently, LWF is seen in over 150 countries and heard on thousands of radio stations around the world including over 800 full power stations in the USA.
Is LWF only found on Christian stations?
Most of our program placement is currently on Christian radio and TV stations, but not exclusively. We are continually open to opportunities for broadcasting the gospel, wherever that may be effective use of our resources.
Radio Specific Questions
What should I do if I miss my radio satellite-FTP feed?
For Satellite FTP Delivery questions, you should first call 1-877-AMBOS2U (1-877-262-6728). If not, you can download an MP2 file from the FSN server. You will need to contact us at Cordova Media to receive the Login and Password. Just e-mail your request.
I am having trouble with the MP2 files. Can you send me MP3 files?
Actually, no ... but ... MP2 files are used by FSN so that we will not be in violation of patent laws. But some people are having trouble converting from MP2 to MP3 while using Adobe Audition/Cool Edit Pro. Both of these software packages, Cool Edit Pro and Adobe Audition, can use MP2 files with the free plug-in available at: http://www.community-media.com/audition_mp2.html
Does LWF have backup programs for radio?
Yes. They are available on CD upon request for stations who take our program via satellite or MP2 download. We recommend that you have this CD on your shelf should you have satellite transmission or download problems.
Do you provide promotional materials for Sharathons?
We would be happy to provide an appropriate number of free materials for on-air giveaway. Contact our office for our Sharathon package of materials. Promos are also available.
Can I get promotional materials for concerts and fairs?
We have some resources set aside for large quantity requests. However, we are generally not in a position to provide free materials for "remotes," concerts, local fairs, etc ... to hand out to people who have no interest or possibility of listening to our program. However, considerable ministry discounts can be obtained by stations for large quantities. Contact our office for details.
TV Specific Questions
What TV formats are available for the LWF program?
LWF offers a 1/2 hour weekly TV program. See TV FORMAT DELIVERY for information on the options.
Love Worth Finding formerly had a 1-hour weekly TV program. What happened?
In order to allow us to be better stewards of the resources God provides, we have chosen to use our creative resources to create a 1/2 hour program. It is a "mini" worship service that will provide all the elements found in the longer version. We will be "splitting" many of Dr. Rogers messages so that over a two week time the viewer will hear the entire message. We also believe this will allow people with busy schedules greater opportunity to watch the program more often.
Does LWF have backup programs for TV?
No. However, we distribute our program tapes two to three weeks in advance. There should be no problems for those that receive tapes. If, however, a tape has not been received at least one week in advance, please contact our office immediately and we will make every effort to overnight you a copy. If we are not notified until a day or two before airtime, we will not be able to guarantee delivery of the proper program.
